OUR HISTORY
In the fall of 2002, after decades in the industry, Barry Schmidt founded BSSI with the belief that a company should be run with integrity, accountability, and purpose. His Christian faith and personal convictions established a culture that prioritizes character, quality, and responsibility—principles that continue to shape daily operations.
As leadership transitioned to the next generation, those principles remained unchanged. Under Tim Schmidt’s presidency, BSSI continues to honor its founding values while moving forward with experienced leadership, a dedicated team, and a long-term commitment to customers, employees, faith, and family.
