BARRY SCHMIDT
President
President Barry Schmidt has worked in the construction industry since 1977. His interest sparked soon after his brother took a position in construction and Barry soon realized he had a natural aptitude for it himself. His experience includes serving with some of the biggest Georgia utility contractors: John D. Stephens, Mid-South Builders, Metropolitan Land Development and Ruby Collins, Inc. Barry values biblical principles and family and has run his company in a way that reflects this. Weathering the financial ups and downs of the industry with integrity, Barry has shaped BSSI in to the success it is today.
TIMOTHY SCHMIDT
Vice President
Vice President Timothy Schmidt’s interest in construction started at a young age when he would accompany his dad to jobs. During high school he worked with other contractors and gained valuable experience but eventually returned to the family business. Today Timothy has worked his way up in the company to serve by his father’s side and has the same vision to run BSSI as a company known for quality and integrity. Timothy also brings a special energy and passion for the financial success of the company as a husband and father looking to support his young family.
